【2024/8/24】英検1級・英検準1級勉強会活動記録
本日私含めて3人の参加者がいらっしゃいましたので英語勉強会を実施しました。
簡単な自己紹介でしたが話が盛り上がり3人で30分英語で話し込んでしました。その後20分で簡単な英語のディスカッションを実施しました。
記事は朝日新聞の内容で以下。
質問は私が準備し、以下。
- Have you ever heard about overtourism not only in Japan but also other countries before?
- Have you ever experienced dual pricing for foreign tourists in Japan or other countries before? If you have, share your experience?
- According to the article, Himeji city is considering a price hike for foreign tourists visiting the himeji castle. Do you agree with the idea?
- According to the article, the Kyoto mayor is considering dual transportation fares for visitors from outside Kyoto and Kyoto residents. As a Japanese nationality, do you support this policy?
- Have you ever heard of other countermeasures against overtourism implemented by municipalities in Japan?
- Nagoya city and Aichi prefecture also have tourist destinations such as Nagoya castle, Inuyama castle and so on. Do you think is it enough to deal with overtourism?
- The Japanese government is aiming for 60 million visitors by 2030. Do you agree with this target? What do you think will happen in the future?
姫路城の見学料を日本人と外人で分けることが検討されているそうです。その差はなんと4倍です。これについて京都市の市長さんが反対の立場を取ったとのこと。
「ホスピタリティーは京都市民の大事なマインドだぁ、外国人も日本人と同じ扱いにしなきゃ」みたいな発言ですね。ただし、その京都市は交通公共機関の料金を京都人とその他の日本人で分けることを検討中。当然京都人のほうが安くなるみたいなんですけど、その理由が京都人は税負担(市民税)しているからだそうです。
この記事を読んで「うーん」と矛盾を感じてしました。さすがは京都ですね。
この疑問をみんなとシェアしたくなって議題にしました。
こんな感じで日本で起こっている日常のギモンについてディスカッションする活動をしています。
名古屋市での開催ですので、朝名古屋の会場に来れる方が対象になります。
