【評価・評判】英文チェッカー「Ginger」は英文添削に使える？

最近では当サイトの読者の方が続々と英検1級に独学で合格しております。

今回は無料で使える英文添削ツールGingerについて調べてみました。

実際に使用してみて、文法訂正精度はどのくらいなのか？

英文全体を見てのニュアンスの訂正は可能なのか確認してみました。

結論

まずは結論から。

1. 100語まで添削可能(繰り返し使用OK)
2. 代替表現の提案も可能
3. 文法添削精度は良好≒日本人英語専門家レベル
4. 文脈を見てニュアンスを修整する能力はネイティブより大きく劣る

文法添削精度は悪くないです。英作文の全体の良し悪しを見る能力は劣ります。

あと100語制限があるので、長い文章の文法を確認するのは何回もコピペすることになるのでだるいです。

Gingerの使い方と精度検証

今回は以下の文章を添削してみました。

1. フルーツフルイングリッシュで日本人講師に添削してもらった文章(添削前)

使い方は凄く簡単。

Gingerのサイトにいって、Enter you’re text hear…に添削したい文章を入力するだけ。

ただし、100語までです。

長い文章の場合は、繰り返し100語ずつ使えばいいです。
